Clean Harbors: The environmental, energy and industrial services company has named Jerry E. Correll president of Safety-Kleen Environmental Services. Correll will replace Robert Craycraft, who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Correll joined Clean Harbors in 2002 in connection with the company's acquisition of Safety-Kleen's chemical services division. He was most recently executive vice president of environmental sales.
National Academy of Environmental Design: Linda Canada Mobile Database Sorrento (pictured) has been named the think tank's first permanent executive director and will lead the launch this year of the organization's new office at the Center for Sustainability and Green Technologies in Knee Village, Spotsylvania, Virginia. Previously, Sorrento was senior director of education for the U.S. Green Building Council.
Green Innovation: The bamboo personal care and paper products company has appointed Philip Rundle as chief executive officer. Most recently, he was CEO of Oasis Brands, a tissue paper manufacturer.
URS Corporation: The engineering, construction and technical services company has named William Harnagel vice president and corporate controller. Prior to his promotion, he served as senior vice president and controller of the Power Group at URS.
Sustainability Accounting Standards Board: The nonprofit organization that develops sustainability measurement and reporting standards for public companies in the United States has appointed Matteo Tonello, managing director of corporate leadership at the Conference Board, to its advisory board.
OxiCool: General James L. Jones has joined the cooling technology company's advisory board. Jones, who heads Jones Group International, which provides advisory and strategic advisory services in the areas of energy, market access and trade development, and international security, is a former National Security Advisor to the President of the United States.
