This site is currently running along with neither the anime nor the manga. It's more of an AU role play. The reason for this is that the canons from the original series were way too powerful to role play here. It wouldn't entirely be fair to the other players. The story line thus far is free form but may change later on in time. If you have any suggestions for a plot, please run them by me and I'll look it over and we can throw something together! There are fights that will take place as well as attempted escapes and other events. We will strive to keep this place from seeming boring. |

General - Staff's word is law.
Obey what the staff has to say, they run the site and do what is best for all members involved. If you have a problem with a staff member the you need to take it up with the admin.
- Respect.
All members deserve a level of respect. We do not tolerate trolling, uncalled for rudeness, or anything of the sort.
- Drama free.
OOCly we don't want drama. Drama is needed in a role play to keep things moving along but remember the two are separate.
- Maturity Tags.
Be sure to tag threads that have excessive violence and the like to war others before they jump in.
- No Spam.
Please don't spam the threads. This will quickly get you banned and if repeated your ip banned.
- Above all...
...Have fun. Role playing is for you to have fun. We don't want you be miserable.
[/ul] Character Rules - Activeness.
If you are going to create a character we would like to see you here more than just the first two days you joined. Show up, get involved. If you are bored let the staff know and we'll try to come up with an event to involve more people.
- One character per account.
We really don't care how many characters you have total, but we do demand that there only be one character per account. This goes for twins and other characters that would likely always be together as well. They need their own account.
- No Cannons.
All characters here will be of your own design. This is an alternate universe where none of the characters from the show or manga exist. Yes, this will cause our story to be different and it will be relieved to you in due time.
- Posting.
We aren't going to have a strict word count, but we will not accept itty bitty posts. Your post must be a minimum of two paragraphs. That means at least eight sentences. A smaller post once in a while is fine but don't make it a habit.
- Images
Your character's picture needs to be a drawing/anime/cartoon. No real lifes here please.

The Branches of Sin are the powers each Deadman has, allowing them to use their own blood in order to achieve incredible powers, the likes of which can hardly be imagined by the average human. Usually, the Deadman can train his powers, to better understand how to use them or perhaps be more conservative with them; after all, if one were to use their powers too much, they may die of blood loss, a fate nobody wants. Various forms of this power exist, from creating blades to shooting ‘bullets’ to even making whips; who knows what sort of other powers may exist? Each ability is recognized according to a Tier System, this helps to explain how strong and the sort of characteristics they can have. The Tier System uses a Letter Rank; D, C, B, A and S Rank. Each Rank has its own description going from lowest to highest, meaning D-Rank are the weakest and simplest abilities where as S-Rank are the strongest and most amazing abilities. Each Deadman has their own Branch of Sin which allows for various abilities according to their BoS (Branch of Sin). The abilities act like techniques that they can use and so they must be relevant to the users Branch of Sin so for example if your Branch of Sin utilizes ranged attacks, then you can only have ranged abilities. In the template you will see; Branch of Sin Name, Branch of Sin Description and Branch of Sin Abilities. These shall now be explained in further detail. The Branch of Sin Name is what the name of your Branch of Sin is, for example Senji Kiyomasa's Branch of Sin is called Crow Claw - however we use it as an example for an ability. The name can be anything you wish, although it should tie in with your BoS's abilities. The Branch of Sin description is where you describe in as much detail as possible what your Branch of Sin can do - what you can do with it - this helps to understand what sort of abilities your character can use. The Branch of Sin Abilities is where you list your characters BoS Abilities using the following template; Name: (The name of the ability, usually in the form of BoS Name: Ability Name) Rank: (What Rank is the Ability?) Description: (What is the ability? What does it do?)
