The official fighting system here is pretty simple but everything needs to be explained at least once, right?
Using the Official system is optional when you instigate a fight. You and your rp partner will decide if you are going to use it or not. It is not, however, optional in official fights.
The system works off of three stats that you will see on the left side of a person's post.
Attack: This is the strength of a person's attack.
Defense: This is the strength of a person's defense.
Blood Level: This is the health and amount of attacks a person has.
The best way to describe how this system works is to show you an example. In red we will have character one and in blue will be character two.
At the start of the thread/fight the players will post their current stats. This will stay until the fight is over no matter how they leveled up outside of this. This can be posted with the two sizing each other up role play wise or simply posted without any role play to it. For the sake of time I'll just be posting the stats.
((Attack 10 Defense 10 Blood 10))
((attack 10 Defense 5 Blood 15))
These stats, with the exception of blood, will follow the character until the end of the fight. Blood goes down with the use of an attack and if they are hit.
Next in the fight is a post that sets defense up for one of the characters, whomever is going to be posting first. They will post their rp piece and then roll for defense. They do not roll for attack since their opponent hasn't had a chance to set up a defense.
Red puts up his guard.
((Attack - Defense [dice=10] Blood 10))
Notice that red still posts the information for his other stats. Red rolled an 8 in defense. That means blue will need to roll 8 or greater to land a hit. Lets see if we can manage that.
Blue shoots a ball of blood at red.
((Attack [dice=10] Defense [dice=5] Blood 14))
Blue's blood went down 1 since he is attacking. He also rolled for defense against the next post. This will always happen.
Blue made a hit on red. In the next post, red must role play out being hit, subtract 1 from his blood and attack if he so desires. You do not have to attack every time if you are trying to save blood.
Red is hit in the shoulder and whips at blue in retaliations.
((Attack [dice=10] Defense [dice=10] Blood 8))
Notice red's blood went down by two since he was hit and he made an attack. Since red's attack is not greater than blue's defense roll, blue blocks the attack and is not damaged. This will go on until one of the character's is out of blood.
Please feel free to post here with any questions.[rand=799201419905410986345681413566728048789786996126793533431903137]
